Description
Three amino acids. Calmed inflammation head to toe.
KPV is a tripeptide (Lysine-Proline-Valine) that represents the C-terminal fragment of the alpha-MSH hormone. It is a potent anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial peptide with applications across inflammatory bowel disease, skin conditions, mast cell activation, and wound healing. KPV works locally at the site of inflammation and carries an excellent safety profile across delivery routes.
How It Works
- Reduces inflammation — Modulates NF-κB and inflammatory cytokine signaling.
- Antimicrobial action — Active against various pathogens including candida.
- Stabilizes mast cells — Reduces mast cell over-activation and histamine release.
- Supports wound healing — Accelerates tissue repair.
- Immunomodulatory — Balances immune responses without broadly suppressing them.
- Multi-route effective — Works orally (gut), topically (skin), or by injection (systemic).
What It’s Used For
Inflammatory bowel disease: Ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, gut inflammation.
Skin conditions: Eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, acne, wound healing.
Mast cell activation: MCAS, histamine intolerance, environmental sensitivities.
Autoimmune inflammation: Adjunct in various autoimmune skin and gut conditions.
Chronic inflammation: Systemic inflammatory load, chronic pain.
Wound care: Chronic wounds, post-surgical healing support.
