Description
TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4)
A peptide that drives soft-tissue repair, muscle and tendon recovery, and post-injury healing — especially synergistic
with BPC-157.
TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of Thymosin Beta-4 (TB4), a naturally occurring peptide found in nearly every cell of the body.
Its primary role is to promote actin production and cellular migration, allowing repair cells to move to sites of injury. This
makes TB-500 particularly powerful for muscle, tendon, ligament, and post-surgical recovery. It’s often used alongside
BPC-157 for synergistic healing effects.
HOW IT WORKS
Upregulates actin (a key protein for cellular movement & repair)
Mobilizes stem cells & repair cells to injury sites
Promotes new blood vessel formation (angiogenesis)
Anti-inflammatory at the tissue level
Supports collagen synthesis for tendon & ligament repair
Modulates wound healing for less scarring
WHAT IT’S USED FOR
• Soft tissue injury & muscle tears
• Tendon & ligament injuries (especially chronic)
• Post-surgical recovery (orthopedic, general)
• Joint pain & chronic inflammation
• Ulcer healing (gastric, skin, vascular)
• Hair regrowth (adjunct in some protocols)
• Athletic recovery from overuse injuries
• Adjunct to BPC-157 for accelerated healing
• Adjunct to BPC-157 for accelerated healing
DOSING & PROTOCOL
Form Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection
Loading dose 2–2.5 mg twice weekly for 4–6 weeks
Maintenance dose 2–2.5 mg weekly or every 2 weeks
Cycle pattern 4–6 weeks loading, then maintenance or off-cycle for 4 weeks
Injection site Subcutaneous abdomen or near injury site if appropriate
Administered by Patient self-injection after training, or in-office
Pairs well with BPC-157 (most common synergy), GHK-Cu, IGF-1 LR3
WHAT PATIENTS REPORT
• Faster healing of muscle, tendon & ligament injuries
• Reduced joint pain & stiffness
• Better post-surgical recovery
• Less scar tissue formation
• Improved flexibility & range of motion
• Faster wound & ulcer healing
• Reduced inflammation in chronic conditions
• Reduced inflammation in chronic conditions
BEST FOR
Athletes with chronic tendon/ligament injuries,
post-surgical patients seeking faster recovery, patients
with overuse injuries (tennis elbow, rotator cuff, plantar
fasciitis), and chronic inflammatory conditions. Often
combined with BPC-157 for synergy.
Safety & pharmacy notes: TB-500 is generally well tolerated. Possible mild effects: temporary fatigue, headache, or injection-site soreness. Not recommended in active cancer (promotes angiogenesis and cell migration), pregnancy, breastfeeding, or known peptide hypersensitivity.
TB-500 is not FDA-approved as a commercial drug and is dispensed through licensed 503A compounding pharmacies on a per-patient prescription basis. Initial consultation with Dr. Thomas required.
